4 Hilarious, Offensive, or Downright Disgusting PETA Projects

Anybody who knows me knows I hate PETA. I mean really hate PETA. As in , I don’t think I’ve ever hated anything more in my life. There’s a lot of reasons why; probably too many to list. Although if you read Ingrid Newkirk’s will on the PETA website, you’d know she’s a psycho, which is just one of the many things I hate about PETA.

Anywho, here are of PETA’s truly despicable shock value ads/demonstrations.

1.  "Sea Kittens"

Fish aren’t cuddly. That’s the whole reasoning behind PETA trying to rename fish “sea kittens”. Their theory is that people don’t want to hook the mouths of cute furry cats, so why would we do it to fish? They even asked the band Phish to change their name. Just makes me hungry for fish sticks. At their website, you can even make your own sea kitten.

2.  "AKC = KKK"

Last February, two PETA members thought it was a good idea to protest the Westminster Dog Show - by dressing as KKK members. “Obviously it’s an uncomfortable comparison,” PETA spokesman Michael McGraw said. But the AKC is trying to create a “master race,” he added. “It’s a very apt comparison.”

Wow. That’s just pure stupidity. Do they really think it’s ok to compare the American Kennel Club to one of the most violent and hateful groups in the world? Did they not think that would offend someone? Even if they were right and the AKC were “creating a master race”, they’re doing it through breeding, not lynching and murder.

Anyway, now I’m just ranting so on to the next one.

3.  "Holocaust On Your Plate"

I really do wonder what goes through the mind of PETA staff when they come up with this stuff. As if they weren’t already offensive enough, they decide to go after the most horrific event in modern history: the Holocaust. And to make matters worse, they put them in Germany. I think I’ll just let pictures speak for themselves.

4.  Scarring Little Kids For Life

PETA also targets small children.  PETA Comics presents:  Your Mommy Kills Animals and Your Daddy Kills Animals.  Not only are just the covers traumatizing to a 6-year-old, they have pictures of dead animals inside.  The propaganda writers of PETA must be so proud of themselves.

Here's the Mommy one:

There's a lot more where these came from, and I might write more of them next week, because it's just so fun to hate PETA.

  1. Wow. Those posters are horrible. I can't believe they thought it would be a good idea to put Holocaust pictures in Germany. And I was just wondering, how do they know what animals think? Have they ever been animals? No!

    1. Irrational, unexplainable behaviour. Ommit terrible odours. Usually live in heards. Dead, souless look to the eyes. Delicious as snacks.
I'd say they are pretty damn close to being animals...

  2. I truly despise PETA. With a mad passion. I don't think that they've ever done something that didn't make me mad. One of their more prominently stupid things was "Unhappy Meals". On what level did they think that would be a good idea?! And the fact that they believe animals are better dead than living with people...words can't even begin to describe how insane they are.

  3. I always thought PETA had some questionable practices, but these are truly awful! I am not sure any group could expect respect by using such terrible analogies in campaigns. I wonder if they have ever been sued by other organizations? This was another interesting post! Good job!
